The Poetry of Robert Frost and the Lesser Poets
Inaugurated by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, National Poetry Month, held every April, is the largest literary celebration in the world with schools, publishers, libraries, booksellers, and poets celebrating poetry's vital place in our culture.
This program will be an overview of Robert Frost, his life and times and his works. We will also listen to the works of John Greenleaf Whittier, Ella Wheeler Wilcox, Hank Williams and Robert W. Service. This program includes recitations rarely heard.
This program will be presented by Dr. Kane from William Paterson University.
